STEREOPHONICS frontman Kelly Jones had to be treated by medics after slicing his arm open.

The altercation, allegedly with a member of the club’s security team, left the 33-year-old bloodied from a deep two-inch gash to his forearm.

Jones was reportedly thrown out of the Vodafone Live Music Awards after walking into the women’s toilet. During a brawl with guards, Jones’ arm was cut on a broken glass.

An ambulance was called and he was treated by paramedics on the street. Earlier in the evening the Stereophonics performed at the bash at the city’s Amika nightclub.

According to the BBC news a spokesperson for Amika London said: “We would describe Kelly’s altercation with our security as a heated tussle with both parties equally aggravated.

I don’t think Mr Jones will be on Amika’s guestlist next year.
